About Me

My name is Brent Armour. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Houston, Texas, supervised by LeAnne Carr, LPC-S. My goal at Therapy Spectra is to aid clients in their journey to personal understanding and acceptance. I employ supportive and person-centered approaches to help clients overcome negative thinking, manage difficult feelings, expand their self-awareness, and improve their self-esteem. I work with individuals who want to experience a greater sense of confidence and self-worth and who may struggle with recognizing a sense of belonging. I provide a protected, judgment-free space for anyone who may be exploring their gender, romantic, and sexual identities. I also work with groups of two or more people for relationship therapy, with a focus on nontraditional relationships.
